Hambane Kahle
ZULU PARTING SONG
HISTORY AND SONG NOTES
Hambane Kahle is a Zulu Parting Song from Southern Africa. This song is a calming way to end the day, or to conclude music time. While singing, the children can rock side-to-side to feel the beat and the meter of the music. This is also an opportunity for children to experience singing piano, legato, and to create smooth phrases with their voices.
